Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.

Itinerary Details
Arrival at the Tien Sa port in Danang city. Get pick-up by the guide and driver inside the port
Transfer (40 minutes) to a farmer’s house in Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village.
09h30 Arrival, Enjoy welcome drink then stroll around the Vegetable Village with your Chef before joining the farmer to learn and to practice the traditional farming ways in preparing the land, and fertilizing the land with seaweed which is exploited from the nearby river. The next steps are raking the ground, sowing or transplanting, watering, and some other gardening activities. After farming experience, you will take a break then have a relaxing foot massage which is traditional health treatment with medicinal herbs before taking part in preparing and cooking some of the famous local dishes including Banana Flower Salad, Local Fresh Spring Rolls or “Tam Hữu”, and Local Rice-Pancakes or “Bánh Xèo” with the instruction of the farmer’s family or the Chef. Enjoy your meal with dishes which cooked by yourself and with local dishes which are cooked by the Chef (Fish Cooked with Fresh Turmeric in Clay Pot, Chicken Cooked with Lemongrass and Chili, Steamed Rice and Desert).
After lunch, take a light excursion to go around the ancient town Hoian
This walking tour is the best way to see the wooden-fronted houses that once belonged to the town’s prosperous merchants. Visit the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple (Fujian temple), 200 years old Vietnamese former merchants' house (Tan ky ancient house)… & have a great shopping.
Free time at leisure in the evening for dinner and walking in the ancient town at own pace
